Police Station
The old Police Station now serves as a the reception, stunning breakfast room and dining area. The original features including the wooden floors, doors and windows have been retained adding to the charm of this already idyllic space.
The Post Office
The old Post Office has been lovingly restored and renovated to provide comfortable accommodation across the four en-suite bedrooms.
All the rooms have Oregon pine ceilings and floors with yellow wood beams, the characteristic features of the building are accentuated with blackwood furniture and modern fittings. Rooms have separate entrances for convenience and each has access to a stunning traditional porch ideal for late afternoon reading and relaxing.
For the convenience of our guests a communal kitchen has recently been added to expand the offering to these rooms to a semi self-catering status. The kitchenette has a wash-up facilities, a microwave and cutlery and crockery.
Post Office 1 is a luxury triple room (queen bed plus single bed), with a small fridge. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower over the bath.
Post Office 2 is a luxury triple room (queen bed plus single bed), with a small fridge. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower over the bath.
Post Office 3 is a luxury triple room (queen bed plus single bed), with a small fridge. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower over the bath.
Post Office 4 is a standard double room (double bed). The bathroom is en-suite with a shower over the bath.
Welsch House
The stunning Welsch House comprises two separate en-suite bedrooms with their own entrances adjoining a self-catering family unit. The rooms have wooden floors and reeded ceilings which make for cool summer temperatures and a rustic feel.
Located on an elevated section of the farm, wonderful vistas of the valley can be enjoyed from the vine covered veranda. A braai area with swimming pool is situated alongside the Welsch House.
Welsch House 1 is a luxury triple room (double bed plus single bed) and a small fridge. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower only.
Welsch House 2 is a luxury triple room (double bed plus single bed) and a small fridge. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower only.
Welsch House 3 is a four sleeper self catering unit, with a double bed in the main bedroom, a 3/4 bed in a second bedroom and another 3/4 bed in the living area. The bathroom is en-suite of the main bedroom and has both a bath and a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The House of Grace
Built from stone and mud during the construction of the Montagu Pass, the House of Grace has been restored to maintain its original beauty with modern necessities being subtly added over the years.
The cottage sleeps six people with two double beds, two single beds, a small kitchen, bathroom, braai facilities and has the most incredible view of the majestic Outeniqua mountains.
